Windows notifications, without the interruptions

Notifications are useful until they pull you out of what you're doing. Eflow gathers them on the island at the top of your screen, where you can see them at a glance and deal with them when you're ready.

How it works

  1. 1

New notifications slide into the island.

  2. 2

Dismiss one with its x, or clear them all.

  3. 3

While you're using another part of the island, a new notification doesn't pull you away: you get a small +1 instead.

  4. 4

Mute an app in Settings, and its notifications arrive quietly, with Windows' own banner for it switched off too.

Good to know

  • The island shows Windows' own notification list, read on your PC. Eflow never forwards notifications anywhere.

  • Muted apps still appear in the list, so nothing is lost.

  • Un-mute an app and Windows' banners for it come back as they were.

Questions

Does muting an app in Eflow also stop Windows' banners?

Yes. Muting an app turns off Windows' banner for it too, and un-muting restores it.

Are my notifications sent anywhere?

No. Eflow reads Windows' notification list on your PC and doesn't forward it.

Will a new notification interrupt me?

Not while you're using another tab of the island: you get a +1 instead of being switched away.
